Firefly Charter & Cancellation Policy
Anclote River Tours
We are honored you chose to cruise with Firefly. Because each experience is private and reserved exclusively for you, we ask that guests review our policy below.
Reservations & Payments
• Full payment is required to secure your reservation.
• Your time slot is held exclusively for your party once payment is received.
Cancellation Policy
• Cancellations made 48 hours or more prior to your scheduled departure may reschedule (subject to availability).
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of your reservation are non-refundable.
• No-shows are non-refundable.
• Late arrivals that shorten your cruise time are not eligible for refunds or extensions.
We reserve the date and crew specifically for you and often turn away other bookings for that time slot.
Weather Policy
Your safety and comfort are our priority.
• If weather conditions are unsafe (lightning, high winds, severe storms, Small Craft Advisories), the Captain will make the final decision to cancel.
• In the event we cancel due to unsafe weather, you will receive the option to:
• Reschedule to a mutually agreed date, or
• Receive a credit toward a future cruise.
Please note:
• Light rain, cloudy skies, or forecast uncertainty do not automatically qualify for cancellation.
• Florida weather can change quickly, and many forecasts improve by departure time.
Mechanical or Operational Issues
In the rare event of mechanical failure or unforeseen operational issues that prevent the cruise from safely operating:
• Guests will be offered a rescheduled date, or
• A full refund if rescheduling is not possible.
Safety will always come first.
Guest Responsibility
• Guests must follow all Captain and crew instructions at all times.
• Intoxicated or unsafe behavior may result in immediate termination of the cruise without refund.
• Maximum capacity limits must be respected (up to 6 passengers unless otherwise stated).
Acts Beyond Our Control
Firefly / Anclote River Tours is not responsible for cancellations or interruptions caused by:
• Government restrictions
• Waterway closures
• Coast Guard advisories
• Natural events beyond our control
In such cases, we will work with you in good faith to reschedule whenever possible.
We truly appreciate your understanding and support of our small, family-run operation. We look forward to welcoming you aboard and creating an unforgettable experience on the Anclote River. 🚤✨
